Disclosure- Settle: Album Review

Disclosure is a duo made up of brothers Howard and Guy Lawrence from the UK. The two brothers collaborate on their album Settle, with the best vocalists that the UK offers including the amazing Jessie Ware, Eliza Doolittle and Aluna George, attracting a niche audience of electronic beat lovers. Settle is a paradoxical name for the album as it urges you to not settle, with the beat which always has you on the move.

With their combination of UK garage, Disclosure produce raw electro tracks, sending you right back to the late 90’s with their hot R&B sound, cool vocals and classic house party dance anthems.

The album is accessible to everyone and can make you throw your shapes onto the dancefloor from the very start of the album all the way to the end. Opener “Intro” prepares you for what comes ahead with its incredible sound and movement, changing into “When a Fire Starts To Burn” which jumps and cuts the beat until you’re totally in the zone. The second half of the album really gets you going with tracks “Grab Her”, “You & Me” and “Confess to Me” creating a mix up of cool R&B and fresh dubstep sounds.

Settle by Disclosure is quickly becoming the favourite street album for the summer with its energetic club tempo that gets you raising your hands to the rooftop in approval.
