Dreams are really something special

Last night I had a dream in which my bapou came to me and spoke to me. Never before have I experienced something like this, apart from when I felt the presence of my grandfather and felt him tap me on the shoulder, and in both cases it made me feel peaceful and calm.
The dream went something like this:

I was on my way to a funeral of a family friend (who I have not met before) and everyone was traveling to the funeral by bus (no idea why- i guess in my dream the bus is a waiting room place kind of like limbo.) The bus was extremely crowded and in the crowd I find my grandfather sitting next to an old woman (the family friend.) By now I was crying, and shocked to see him and he hugged me, and told me that he was okay, that I was going to be okay and that when he passed away he felt no pain. I was crying and held onto him tightly and then I sat down next to him, which is when I woke up.

I believe that he came to me to tell me these things because he knew he I was worried and needed to know that he was okay and wasn't in pain. That was my worry, that in his final moments he was suffering, but he came to tell me that I shouldn't worry about him, because he is okay.

This really has made me feel peaceful and calm and I know that he is watching over me...x

Feeling Stressed? Make Yourself A Cuppa!

Ever found yourself full of stress and nerves? Head straight to the kitchen. Put the kettle on. Select from your variety of flavored tea leaves and put them in your favourite cup. Now watch the steam as the kettle boils and inhale the aroma of your chosen tea. Soon your troubles will be forgotten. Pour the hot water into your cup, stir and now it is time to drink. Leave your worries behind you and relax, feel the warmth of the hot cup in your hand. Now you will feel ready to tackle your problems!

The benefits of drinking tea have been studied and examined for years, and it is highly suggested that drinking tea will help you lead a happy life. So here are a few health benefits of tea:

Tea contains antioxidants. Antioxidants help cells to repair and also helps slow down the aging process. Many studies suggest antioxidants also assist our bodies in preventing cancer and other dangerous health conditions. Tea also helps prevent diabetes. There is some evidence to suggest that green tea might help to lower the risk of getting Type 2 Diabetes.

Drinking tea also has the added bonus of clearing your skin of acne. Result!

Tea lowers stress levels. Black tea is especially helpful in reducing the effects of stress by lowering the amount of stress hormones in the body. While tea drinking will not eliminate the stress in your life it will certainly help you in dealing with your problems.

Tea helps to protect your teeth by reducing plaque and killing the bad bacteria in your mouth.

Tea keeps you hydrated. Drinking low or decaffeinated tea counts as a cup of water with the added benefits of providing antioxidants.

Tea drinking reduces the risk of strokes and heart attacks, preventing the formation of blood clots by 70%. Tea lowers blood pressure. Drinking green tea especially can reduce your risk of hypertension by up to 50%.

Tea helps your body to digest and has been used for thousands of years as an after-meal digestive aid. It can also help relieve stomach cramps.

Tea aids your immune defenses. A study comparing the immune activity levels of coffee drinkers vs. tea drinkers found the tea drinkers to have levels up to five times higher. Tea can also help beat bacteria. An Egyptian study testing the effects of green tea on antibiotics found the tea to enhance the bacteria killing effects of the drugs.

Tea helps promote weight loss. Tea is very low on calories and drinking tea daily can help speed up your metabolism which can increase the burning of calories by 50- 100 a day. This amounts to more than 10 pounds weight loss in a year, if you are following a healthy diet.

Feeling Emotionally, physically and mentally drained. I just feel so down lately. I'm going home for the weekend again, but not looking forward to Sunday. I'm actually scared. I know I'm going to cry. I've been crying all day just thinking about my grandads memorial. I miss him so much.

I was I were stronger and be able to deal with all this better.
